From object to architecture, Léonard Kadid’s studio explores the potentials of matter through a precise and enduring language. The practice spans across architecture, lighting, and furniture, shaping all the elements that define our built environment. Its body of work emerges from an attentive reading of context and is driven by a pursuit of balance between simplicity and meaning. Architect and industrial designer, Léonard Kadid received the French design award FD100 for his solid oak chair collection Pier in 2022. That same year, his lamp Möja entered the permanent collection of the Mobilier National. From 2022 to 2025, he has also been teaching an architecture studio at the École d’Architecture de Normandie in Rouen, alongside his professional practice.
